Junior League to Host 9th Annual Holiday Gift Market
The Junior League of Tampa’s ninth annual Holiday Gift Market, "A Whimsical Wonderland," is on tap for Nov. 9-11 at the Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall, 4800 U.S. 301 N., Tampa.
As the major fundraising event for the Junior League of Tampa, 100 percent of net proceeds from the Holiday Gift Market will support the league’s programs and community projects in child welfare and education.
More than 145 merchants will be selling everything from children’s items, women’s clothing, handbags and jewelry to college game-day gear, gourmet food, home
décor and holiday décor.
While a majority of the merchants are local to Florida, the market also attracts merchants from across the country due to its growing national recognition as a premier shopping event.
Special events during the market include “Breakfast with Santa," a book reading and signing with Grace Borgeson, Tampa-based author of "Douwlina: A Rhino’s
Story," craft and cooking demonstrations and a “Man Cave."
Times are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10; and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12. November 9th, Friday: 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
The cost is $8 at the door, $6 for parking. A special military recognition night will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Military members pay $4 with a valid ID.
