Missing Since 2000, Brandon Man’s Body Found In Pasco Woods

Donald Wayne Cavender's remains were found last year by a hunter in the woods near Zephyrhills.

DNA testing has confirmed a body found in the woods of Pasco County is that of a Brandon man who had been missing since 2000.

Donald Wayne Cavender’s remains were found last year by a hunter in the woods near Zephyrhills.

The University of North Texas recently made the identification thanks to DNA provided by Cavendar’s brothers.

Cavender, whose last address was 1207 Mitchell St. in Brandon, was reported missing by his family in June 2000.
