Novemberfest 2012: When, Where, and What's Happening at Nativity

The 43rd annual Novemberfest, on the grounds of Nativity Catholic Church and school in Brandon, runs from Nov. 8 through 12. Here's your guide to events, schedules, news and photos.

A Brandon tradition returns, with the 43rd Annual Novemberfest on the grounds of Nativity Catholic Church and school in Brandon, at the corner of State Road 60 and Bryan Road. The carnival and festival, including midway rides and games, runs from Nov. 8 through 12.

Nativity Novemberfest 2012 Hours

Novemberfest, at 705 East Brandon Blvd., runs from 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12.

Nov. 8 — 4 to 10 p.m.
Nov. 9 — 4 to midnight
Nov. 10 — Noon to midnight
Nov. 11 — Noon to 10 p.m.
Nov. 12 — 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Cost To Attend Novemberbfest 2012

Admission is free
Parking is free (although some private parking lots have posted signs for a parking fee)
Daily armband for unlimited rides: $22
The cost of a food coupon is $1, 10 coupons per sheet, one-sheet minimum purchase

Nativity Novemberfest 2012 Event Highlights

Novemberfest Idol Contest, hosted by American Idol Finalist Jeremy Rosado. Competition schedule: Nov. 9 (country), Nov. 10 (pop/rock or Christian rock) and Nov. 11 (performer's choice, finale). Rosado hosts the first night. (For times and additional hosts, see chart below.) Contestants competed in advance for finalist standings.

Nov. 10 — Craft Beer Tasting (5 to 7 p.m.)

Nov. 11 — Alumni Family Day

Nov. 12 — Veterans day, with special discounts for military and military dependents, with ID. Salute to Veterans is at noon, followed by the NovemberQue B-B-Que Cook-Off.
