Doug Amoroso Helps Brandon Honorary Mayor Raise $40,000 For Campaign

Doug Amoroso, owner of Amoroso Cabinets in Brandon, helped the new 2013 Honorary mayor winner, Jack Bartlett, raise over $40,000 in his fundraising campaign. The run for Honorary Mayor of Brandon is sponsored yearly by The Community Roundtable, an organization that assists local non-profits. The winner is announced every year at the law offices of B. Lee Elam in Brandon. Jack Bartlett beat out 3 other candidates for the win through the helping hand of Doug Amoroso. Together with a team of volunteers, Jack Bartlett raised $47,556.31 with 90% of all proceeds raised benefitting Brandon Sports and Aquatic and A Kid's Place.

Doug was drawn to helping Jack Bartlett due to the charities the Honorary Mayor chose. Doug states: “Jack has been a longtime supporter of children advocate groups so it was a wonderful opportunity to help a worthy, local cause where I know nearly every dime goes to the charities.”
