Sponsors needed for the Iraq Veterans Memorial

The Iraq Veterans Memorial (IVM) Committee will host a golf tournament on Dec. 5, 2013, at MacDill Air Force Base (AFB). The tournament will raise money for the continued construction of the newest memorial at the Hillsborough County Veterans Memorial Park, which county officials and senior officers from MacDill AFB will dedicate on Dec. 14, 2013. Registration to play in the tournament remains open, and organizers invite anyone interested to register online. As community leaders make the final push toward the dedication, the IVM Committee invites local businesses to participate in this commemoration through donations or sponsorships for the golf tournament.

Sponsorship benefits include brand recognition and advertising among the local community military and corporate leaders. The sponsorship opportunities are:

·         1st Place Sponsor: $3000 Sponsor receives a free foursome and a sign with company name posted at the tournament room and the 1st Tee box and Green. Granite Bench with Company logo placed at the memorial

·         2nd Place Sponsor: $2000 Sponsor receives a free foursome and sign with company name at the tournament room and at the 2nd tee box and Green.

·         3rd Place Sponsor: $1000 Sponsor receives a free 2 some and sign with company name at the tournament room and at the 3rd tee box and Green.

·         Platinum Hole Sponsor: $750 one free golfer and a sign with company name posted at a green and tee box for two holes.

·         Gold Hole Sponsor: $500 one Large Sign with Company name posted at tee box and green.

·         Silver Hole Sponsor: $300  1 Medium Sign with Company name posted at a green

·         Bronze Hole sponsor: $250. 1 Small Sign with Company name posted at a green

The IVM Golf Tournament starts at 1:00PM on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at the Bay Palms Golf Course on MacDill AFB, Tampa. Play will be an 18 hole, Foursome Scramble format. Valid ID is required at the gate; please reach out to organizers for any questions or assistance.
