Clean It Up, Brandon! Dump Trash Where It Belongs — And Fits

Too much trash in the can? Dump it elsewhere. Stuff you don't need in your car? Dispose of it where we don't have to see it.

Holding on to a sandwich wrapper? An empty bottle? An old shoe? Do these things really belong dumped into plain view alongside a Brandon roadway or atop an over-flowing trash receptacle?

That's what we'd like to know, as we spot in our journeys some off-setting examples of blatant disregard.

There's a scene in the popular Mad Men television series, first set in the 60's, where the Drapers go on a picnic in the park with their two young kids and they ready themselves to leave, folding their blanket and gatherings — but not their trash.

They simply leave it behind.

That doesn't — or shouldn't — happen as much anymore, but here we are, in 2013, and we should know better.

So, clean it up, Brandon!

Most of us do, why not you?

And when it comes to over-flowing trash receptacles at public places, such as at a shopping center or in a ballpark, what do you wan to say? Who's more at fault, the people who can't hold on to their trash until they find an under-stuffed garbage can, or the people in charge of making sure stuffed trash cans are empty — but don't?
