East Hillsborough Democrats Ask: Who's For Kids? Who's 'Just Kidding?'

The East Hillsborough County Democratic Club is set to meet Tuesday, Oct. 8, at O'Brien's Irish Pub and Family Restaurant in Brandon, at 701 West Lumsden Road.

The group had previously met at the now-closed Barnacles restaurant in Brandon.

On this week's agenda is the topic, "Who's Looking Out for the Children?" Scheduled to speak: Linda Alexionok and Roy Miller, president and founder, respectively, of The Children's Campaign.

"From prostitution of minors and uninsured kids, to substandard daycare options and gan prevention, The Chidren's Campaign raises the hard issues to determine which policy leaders are really for kids and which are 'just kidding,' " reads the announcement for this month's club meeting.
