Lane Wetherington, with the help of hundreds of volunteers, brings the Christmas Lane to life each year at his parents' home in the Greater Brandon area of Dover. The 1.5-acre "Winter Wonderland Walk-Thru" is open to the public during the holiday season just two miles north of State Road 60 (Brandon Boulevard) and two miles south of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Weather permitting, Christmas Lane is open nightly through Dec. 30. Included is a train ride for kids; nightly musical entertainment; a manger scene; and, for the stroll, hot chocolate, coffee, ice cold drinks, popcorn and freshly made cotton candy. Special note: Santa visits Dec. 17 through Dec. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m. Also, "on his way back to the North Pole" on Dec. 24, from 6 to 7 p.m.
