Cynthia Pinckney Ministries Prayer Assembly

Cynthia Pinckney of Cynthia Pinckney Ministries, who for years has been serving the poor and homeless in the Greater Brandon area, has been hosting prayer assemblies periodically at area churches and, starting in January 2011, will be scheduling an assembly on the fourth Saturday of the month.

Cynthia Pinckney Ministries for years has organized large-scale feedings of people in need for Thanksgiving and Christmas, which has drawn hundreds of people, both in need and as volunteers acting individually and on behalf of church congregations. In 2010, Pinckney's focus shifted to an outreach with area churches, one by one, to better accommodate people in need even more locally.

The "I Will Walk With You" prayer assemblies are a way to launch and further that grass-roots effort.
