Reader's Spotlight: Tampa Wax Slingers Raise Funds for Guide Dogs

The Riverview business joined forces with the Florida chapter of Rolling Thunder to raise $2,000 for the Southeastern Guide Dogs Inc.

It seemed a natural collaboration. After all, what dog doesn't enjoy a car ride?

At the request of the Florida Chapter of Rolling Thunder car club, Tampa Wax Slingers, a Riverview auto detailing service, organized car shows to raise funds for the Southeastern Guide Dogs Inc., a nonprofit that trains guide dogs for the blind.

According to Tampa Wax Slingers co-owner Jessica Cianfrocca, who posted this announcement on Bloomingdale-Riverview Patch, the shows attracted up to 200 car owners, 100 motorcycling enthusiasts and more than 1,000 visitors.
