The Valrico Rotary Club seeks sponsors for its second annual Pig-a-Palooza fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, March 9, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Rotary's Camp Florida in Brandon, at 1915 Camp Florida Road.
The cost is $25 for adults, $20 for military and first responders and $5 for children, ages 14 to 18. Younger children gain admission with a nonperishable food donation. In exchange, attendees will feast on all-you-can-eat pulled and sliced pork, chicken and sausage, baked beans, cole slaw, taters and bread.
The event will feature music and beer for the adults and a bouncy house, jungle gym and games for the kids.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Emergency Care Help Organization (ECHO) in Brandon, the Bill Carey Unit of the Boys & Girls Club in Brandon; Faces of Courage, for residents struggling with cancer; Rotary's Camp Florida, a camp with overnight bunking for children with special needs; the LLT Academy Learning Fund; and LifeCare of Brandon.
