Taste chili for a cause at the Hillsborough County Fair today, Oct. 21.
For the fifth year, members of the Rotary Club of FishHawk/Riverview have invited residents to dig out their best chili recipes and compete for a chance to be named chili champion at the Hillsborough County Fair.

The club will host its chili cook-off from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds in the Greater Brandon community of Dover, just north of State Road 60 on Sydney-Washer Road.
Fairgoers will taste and judge the chili made by the contest's group, individual and youth entrants. The winner will receive a monetary award.

Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club Scholarship fund for the Hillsborough County youth fair exhibitors and other Rotary charities.
Tickets can be pre-purchased for $5 and include fair entry.
