The Regent Announces New Hourly Rates

New hourly rates have been instituted at The Regent, with aims to make the facility "more accessible to community organizations."

in Greater Brandon has restructured hourly rental pricing, thus making its spaces more affordable, according to Kristen Kerr, executive director of the community center and events venue.

"This will hopefully make us more accessible to community organizations," she said. "We are very excited about the promising opportunities that this presents for those in our community, for nonprofits and private functions alike."

The new hourly rates are effective immediately from Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hourly rates are for the actual event time. Set-up and break-down times are determined at the discretion of Regent staff.

For one event suite with the terrace, the standard rate is $150 an hour and the nonprofit rate is $75 an hour.

Two event suites with the terrace is $300 an hour standard rate and $150 an hour for nonprofits.

Three event suites with the terrace costs $600 an hour standard rate and $300 an hour for nonprofits.

The rental fee for the community room is $100 an hour standard rate and $50 an hour for nonprofits.

The courtyard is $75 an hour when rented with an indoor space and $150 an hour when rented alone.

The Regent also offers a 15 percent military discount honored on all evening weekend rentals.

Discounts for 501 C3 organizations may apply on evening rentals upon review of a scholarship application, which is available on The Regent's website.

"Remember that we are looking for artists to participate in our monthly Art Exhibits and Teach Your Talent program," added Kerr. "All submission forms are located on our community page. Be certain to check out our Facebook pages as well - we recently launched one specific to our community outreach."
