The much-awaited Gornto Lake Road extension officially opens Tuesday, Sept. 24, following a mid-morning ribbon-cutting, but a first-look drive was granted last week at the road that connects Brandon Town Center Drive to Brandon Boulevard.
Once open, motorists will be able to drive straight through from Brandon Boulevard to Bloomingdale Avenue, and on to U.S. Highway 301.
