Wok Chi Grand Opening Event to Benefit Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center

The event will take place Saturday, May 11 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Wok Chi, the new casual Chinese restaurant opening in Regency Square in Brandon, is hosting a Grand Opening Community Celebration to benefit the Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center Saturday, May 11 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

All proceeds will benefit the BSAC Children’s Summer Camp programs.

“We are very excited to be partnering with the Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center,” said Rahul Chaubal, vice president of operations of Wok Chi. “The center has been impacting lives of families throughout the Tampa Bay area daily for the past 50 years, and we applaud their efforts in providing children with meaningful athletic programs.”

Tickets are available for $15 per adult and $10 for children 12 and under. Guests will enjoy wok-seared stir-fry, authentic dim sum, specialty beverages and a Wok Chi signature dessert. Live entertainment will also be featured.

Reservations can be made by calling the BSAC at 813-689-0908. Walk-ins are also welcome.

“We have enjoyed working with the Wok Chi team in creating a fun event for our many members,” said Chuck Burgess, executive director of the Brandon Sports and Aquatic Center. “We appreciate their support and look forward to officially welcoming this great new restaurant concept to our community and continuing our partnership.”

Located at 2420 W. Brandon Blvd. in Brandon, Wok Chi will serve authentic, pan-regional Chinese food cooked to order by wok masters. Guests will enjoy the fresh flavors of wok-seared cooking, stir fry, dim sum and signature desserts. The restaurant will offer a fun, interactive experience that honors tradition while embracing contemporary style.

Wok Chi will officially open its doors for business on Monday, May 13. It will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Takeout will be available as well.
