Music inspires much of my work. I am also influenced by childhood memories  of Kalamazoo, Michigan, where I am originally from, particularly my memorie of the snow and ice of Winter. There are even places around my neighborhood in Brandon which I use as inspiration for my landscapes which I then embellish. Also, I am enamored by the images I see of gardens and ruins from around the world and especially those of the British Isles, with their fairy tale rolling hills and hedgerows."
