The meal will be catered by Carrabba's and will include Chicken Marsala, Caesar Salad, Pasta Pomodoro, bread, beverage and dessert.

The concert and meal will be served from 5:15 to 7:15 p.m. at the school cafeteria.  The student orchestra will perform at 7:45 in the auditorium; there is no additional admission fee.

The orchestra is led by Donald Langland, only the fourth director the orchestra has had since its inception in 1967.

Langland was chosen 2011 Secondary Music Educator of the Year by the Florida Music Educators Association, said Janette McElwain, chairwoman of the Brandon High School Orchestra Boosters.
