This is what instructor Tim Mandese says:

"Going beyond the odd doodle, this course covers the fundamentals of drawing as well as takes the more advanced artist to a higher level.  Focusing on light and shadows, the course will help you bring more depth and realism to your finished drawings.  In the course, you will learn how to study and "break down" a subject into easy to draw pieces.  I will teach you how to create drama in a drawing as well as how to choose the right reference for your subject.   I will share with you, my tricks of the trade and show you how fun and exciting pencil drawing can be.  Artists are encouraged to bring examples of their drawing for critique.  This will help determine your current skill level and help you get the most from the class.  New artists need bring nothing more than pencils, paper and enthusiasm.  Recommended for ages 12 - adults."
