Greater Brandon Thespians On Stage Tonight (May 14) in Valrico and Plant City

Live theater in Eastern Hillsborough County is in the spotlight tonight, May 14, with "Bye Bye Birdie" in Valrico and "Daddy's Dyin'...Who's Got the Will?" in Plant City.

Two area community theater troupes -- which throughout the year often share actors, musicians, crew members and audience attendees  -- will be in full production tonight with "Bye Bye Birdie" in Valrico and "Daddy's Dyin'...Who's Got the Will?" in Plant City.

It's all in the family for Plant City Entertainment and the Village Players in Valrico, given the number of shows that get staged and the limited number of weekends in which to perform, especially when each shows runs two or three weeks at a time.

For theater lovers in Greater Brandon, however, more is better as live theater performed by neighbors, families and friends focuses on staging accomplished talent at affordable prices.
