'Our Town' Comes To Our Town, Valrico

This year, 2013, marks the 75th anniversary of Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, "Our Town." See it on the community theater stage.

The Village Players returns to the community theater stage with Thornton Wilder's Our Town, the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama that this year celebrates its 75th anniversary.

The play, as noted, "explores the fictional lives of the Gibbs family, the Webb family and their neighbors in Grover's Corners, New Hampshire early in the 20th century. With quiet wisdom and an almost bare stage, the play captures the richness of ordinary people living ordinary lives."

The opening night, dinner-theater production is scheduled for tonight, Aug. 9, at the James McCabe Theater in Valrico, at 506 Fifth Street, west of Valrico Road and north of State Road 60.
