Looking Back, a Musical Revue (VIDEO)

Star Productions took to the stage in Greater Brandon with "Looking Back: Celebrating Music From 1917 to 1970's." The show featured eight singers, from student to senior citizen, with talent collectively from Brandon, Lutz, Plant City and Valrico.

From student to senior, the eight-member cast of “Looking Back: Celebrating Music From 1917 to 1970’s,” brought their respective talents and life experiences to the task at hand: to sing with passion and technique a collection of memorable tunes.

The cast of eight included senior citizens Shirley Sheppard and Lowell Shaw, both of Plant City, who sing with the Plant City Community Choir.

Joining the two on stage, at The Bridges in Riverview, were Jessica Jacobs, 15, of Valrico, a student at the Blake High School magnet program for the performing arts, and community theater veteran Paula Spangler Klein, who studies at the Florida Arts School in Tampa.
