Write To Santa at Center Place in Brandon

It's time to put crayon to paper and tell Santa Claus what you've done to help others this year and what you promise to leave him when he comes to your house to deliver those special gifts you hope he sends your way.

Believe? Then it's time to write to Santa, and when you do, you can drop off your letters at Center Place.

The "Santa Mail" box is on display at the entranceway to the classroom and kitchen hallway at the Center Place Fine Arts & Civic Association, which shares space with the Brandon Regional Library in the Sandy Rodriguez Center, at 619 Vonderburg Drive.

The letter is pretty much written for you, but it's waiting for your replies to the following questions:

  • Your name.
  • Your age.
  • Two ways you've helped out your family.
  • The one thing you want most for Christmas (and why).
  • Then, if the "elves and Mrs. Claus aren't too busy," what else you would like to receive.

Oh, and one more thing:

  • What you promise to leave for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve.

You will be asked as well to sign the letter, which attests that you "have been very good this year" and that you have tried to do your best and to be kind to those around you.

The best thing about Christmas? It's never too late, and it's always a reminder, that good deeds and kind actions pay off in the end.

Right, Santa?
