How To Find Your School Supply Shopping List For 2013

If your child attends school in Hillsborough County, you may have to do a little hunting.

Headed out to buy school supplies for the tax-free holiday this weekend and aren't sure just what to buy?

If your child attends school in Hillsborough County, you may have to do a little hunting.

There are a few ways to get your child's school supply lists for public schools in Hillsborough.

Parents should first check their child's school website to see if school supply lists have been posted. If they aren't there, the parent should call the school directly, said Kristin Waskiewicz, a spokeswoman for the Hillsborough County School district.

A check of Hillsborough Schools websites revealed that many schools haven't posted supply lists. Some teachers may hand out additional, class-specific supply lists at open house.

Some schools also send out supply lists by mail, Waskiewicz said.

Still no luck?

Some local stores like Target and Walmart have school supply lists posted in their stores.
