'Rio' a $1 Chick-fil-A 'Summer Fun Flick' at AMC The Regency 20 Today (June 19)

Chick-fil-A of Lake Brandon Village is back with an extended "Summer Fun Flicks" program, Tuesdays at AMC The Regency 20. Eight movies for $1, with proceeds benefiting ECHO, Center Place and the YMCA.

 

Chick-fil-A's "Summer Fun Flicks" returns to the AMC The Regency 20 today, June 19, with a 10 a.m. showing of "Rio," rated G, for general audiences.

Paul and Tammy Holmberg, proprietors of the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Lake Brandon Village, are behind the summer line-up of movie treats for parents and kids at the local theater.

The “Summer Fun Flicks” series of eight movies for $1 each started June 12 and runs every Tuesday through Aug. 7, except for July 3. Proceeds benefit the Emergency Care Help Organization (ECHO), Center Place Fine Arts & Civic Association and the YMCA.

Each movie starts at 10 a.m., with doors opening at 9 a.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance and, as an added treat, the AMC Kids Pack sells for $4. Call:813-685-3396.

July 10 — The Smurfs (PG)

July 31 — Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked (PG)
Aug. 7 — Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World (PG)
As an added treat, arrive between 9 and 10 a.m. and witness Mike’s Balloon Magic.
