Chamber Graduates Leadership Brandon Class of 2011

Graduation ceremonies were held at the Embassy Suites in Greater Brandon, with  Dick Crippen, senior advisor for the Tampa Bay Rays, giving the keynote speech.

Leadership Brandon and the Leadership Brandon Alumni Association operate under the tutelage of the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce.

Leadership Brandon was founded in 1985 as "a diverse organization that inspires, supports and enhances community leadership through development of our members."

Each year a new leadership class is formed and its members familiarize themselves with community groups, programs, needs and organizations through theme-focused day meetings. Class members meet for sessions on social issues and on government, national security, economic and education, law enforcement, judicial, leadership and public image concerns.

The larger alumni association serves to connect members from various classes by offering an ongoing schedule of social and networking activities.

Nominations for the Class of 2012 are now being accepted.
