That's according to a recent Tampa Bay Times article that says the 130-store national franchise of "Panera Bakery clones" is scouting Brandon as a possibility for its first store in the Tampa Bay area. The local franchisee, Yum & Chill Restaurant Group, has signed a deal to open 10 of the fast casual restaurants in the area in the next five to seven years, the Times reports.

Corner Bakery, which first set up shop in Chicago in 1991, is known for its panini, soups, salads and fresh-baked bread and also does catering, Narav Mehta, president of Yum & Chill, told the Times. The average meal costs $10.
