Orthodontist To Buy Back Halloween Candy

Hess Orthodontics in the Greater Brandon community of Riverview is set to buy back unused Halloween candy in November, for donation to Operation Gratitude.

Too much candy left over? No worries. Hess Orthodontics will host its annual Halloween Candy Buyback Thursday and Friday, Nov. 1-2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its office, 11970 Boyette Rd., Riverview.

Hess will pay $1 for each pound of candy donated. All candy will be donated to Operation Gratitude, which sends care packages filled with snacks, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation addressed to individually named U.S. service members deployed in hostile regions, to their children left behind and to wounded warriors, veterans and first responders.

The Hess Orthodontics Candy Buyback event is open to the public. For more information, contact Samantha McGuire, marketing coordinator at Hess Orthodontics, 813-645-4377 or email Sam@hessorthodontics.com.
