Holidays with Healing Heroes Network at Mixon's

Holidays with Healing Heroes Network at Mixon Fruit Farms. The store doesn't usually open at night, but this is an opportunity for those that are working to support the military and do a little shopping at the same time.

It will cost $15 to enter Mixon's and the check should be written out to the Healing Heroes Network.  Mixon's will be giving the first 200 people a gift bag with items from Mixon's plus some promotional items from local businesses that support the cause with a value of $15 - $25.   Mixon's will also have free sampling of many of their deli items and Florida wines all during the event and there will be a drawing for a Swarovsky Crystal necklace with a value of $99.

Healing Heroes was established after September 11, 2001 after the attacks on the towers.  Often when our men and women return from Iraq and Afghanistan they are undable to receive the medical treatments that would facilitate their return to a productive civilian life.  Healing Heroes provide financial assistance for desperately needed therapies and services for injuries such as Traumatic Brain injury and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or any other problem not currently provided by the US Dept VA.
