Leaders Sought for Seffner Chamber

The Greater Seffner Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking members to step up for leadership positions on its board of directors.

 

It's time for half the leadership seats of the Greater Seffner Area Chamber of Commerce to face a full-membership vote, with elections in August for service the entails a two-year commitment.

Installation is in September for the newly anointed board, for which nominations now are being sought.

"Are you ready to help take the chamber to the next level?"

So reads the call for action posted by chamber president Lori Libhart, which notes that self-nominations are encouraged for positions open for directors, treasurer and corresponding secretary.

"New board members help to bring fresh perspectives and new ideas," Libhart said. "Get involved now to help build your community's business environment."

The board meets once a month and this month met on June 14 to hear from a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office's community resource officer about .
