Patch Picks: Super Bowl Sports Bar, Restaurant Specials

We started the list with six places, but there are plenty more, for sure, offering special deals for Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 6. Feel free to add yours to the mix.

The Super Bowl XLV face-off between the Pittsburg Steelers and Green Bay Packers is set for Feb. 6 and area eateries and bars are serving up some specials to go along with the festivities. We start with this list of six. Feel free to add your suggestions as well.

  1. — Buy a “Big Game Party Ticket” for $39.99 and get “all you can eat and drink” or buy a $24.99 ticket and get “all you can eat.” The “all you can eat” buffet includes snow crab legs, prime rib, Cajun chicken pasta, peel ‘n’ eat shrimp, sandwich station, nacho bar, wings and chicken tenders. “All you can drink” includes call and premium liquors, draft beers and house wines. Sales tax and gratuity not included. Kids 12 and under, “all you can eat” deal is $14.99.
  2. — At the original Beef’s at 210 South Kings Avenue, is offering for take-out only, 50 wings and a Cuban tray for $65. At Beef’s, the Super Bowl $25 special includes all you can eat hot dogs, chips and salsa, sliders, 10 free wings and a pitcher of beer.
  3. — Doors open at 5 p.m.; kickoff at 6 p.m. At the door, $20 gets you gourmet pizza, appetizers and salads. Family friendly event, with support of the Brandon Foundation Angel Program.
  4. — Known as a Steelers bar, The Super Bowl party at the O’Brien’s at 701 West Lumsden Drive in Brandon kicks off at 6 p.m. (As of Feb. 3 at 9 p.m., tickets reportedly were almost sold out.)  Tickets cost $20 per person. Includes happy hour prices and a “monster food buffet.” Ticket-holders are entered into a halftime drawing for a $250 cash prize. Tickets cost $15 with a V.I.P. Reward Card.
  5. — Now through Super Bowl Sunday, purchase 75 boneless or traditional wings for $49.99.
  6. The Brass Tap — Doors open at noon and kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. All you can eat and drink for $30 during game hours. Select drafts, house wines, pizza and wings. Reservations acceptes.
