Guy Boucher, head coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning, is set to host the final round of "Cooking for a Cause III" at the , this time in Riverview. The Aug. 25 celebrity chef offering will benefit the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure charity.
Boucher is the fifth local notable in this latest round of celebrity chef fundraisers, following State Rep. Rachel Burgin on June 11, Hillsborough County School Superintendent MaryEllen Elia on June 18, Jen Holloway of Bright House Networks on June 25 and Tammy Bracewell, president and chief executive officer of the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce, on July 9.
The prior four fundraisers were held at the Copper Bell Cafe in Brandon, on Parsons Avenue.
The Aug. 25 event, unlike the previous four, will be a dinner, not a luncheon, and reservations are being accepted for four dinner buffet seatings, at 4:30, 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.

The cost is $15.95 per person, $8.95 for children ages 12 and under. All proceeds and gratuities will benefit Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure.
The dinner menu includes Carved Roast Beef, Roasted Chicken, Pork Medallions, Potatoes au Gratin, Green Beans Almondine, Copper Mac & Cheese, Caesar Salad, Strawberry Feta Salad, coleslaw, dinner rolls and dessert.
The Copper Bell Cafe in Riverview is at 11228 Boyette Road. Through Aug. 25, proprietor Darren Dennington is celebrating the cafe's one-year anniversary in Riverview with $1 cups of coffee, $2 bowls of soup, $5 Beef on Weck,, $5 cabbage rolls and $2 bruschetta bread.
About Cooking for a Cause:
The premise is simple: Dennington invites community local community leaders to serve as celebrity chefs on their designated day for the fundraiser. Dennington and his staff, sometimes with the aid of the celebrity chef, prepare the ingredients for the meals the night before.
All proceeds and gratuities from the day will be donated to the charity designated by the celebrity chef.
"I'm very proud of what our small cafe has been able to give to charities through this event," Dennington said. "It's been very well-received in the community."
Since its inception, Cooking for a Cause has raised more than $30,000 for local charities and non-profit organizations.

- June 18 — School Superintendent MaryEllen Elia. Her chosen charity: Hillsborough Education Foundation.
- June 25 — Jen Holloway, marketing director for Bright House Networks, the sponsor for this year's event. Her chosen charity: HARC, "one of the oldest and most-respected agencies serving people with disabilities in the Tampa Bay region."
- July 9 — Tammy Bracewell, president and chief executive officer of the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce. Her chosen charity: YMCA.
