Westfield Brandon Family Fun Day Highlights 'Fantastic Fall'

School's in and the theme for families in September at the Westfield Brandon shopping mall is to showcase, as the Westfield promotion puts it, the changes that come with "new teachers, new friends, new routines, and even a whole new season."

Each month mall officials host a Family Fun Day. This month's theme: "Fantastic Fall."

Scheduled for Sept. 20 from 4 to 5 p.m., at the Busch Gardens Sesame Street Safari of Fun Play Space near Clarks, is a story time, snacks, arts and crafts and a chance to win prizes.

The first 50 kids will receive a $10 Clarks gift card to be used toward a pair of kids shoes.

For nationwide shopping centers, Westfield highlights four books that can be read for kids agest 2 to 5, for whom crafts notes are to make a sock puppet and to decorate a fall nature collecting jar. For kids ages 6 to 12, noted is an opportunity to create a scrapbook of favorite summetime memories.
