When Will Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Open in Brandon?

Hiring is under way for Red Robin Gourmet Burgers at the Westfield Brandon shopping mall. A date has been announced for the restaurant's October opening.

 

The Westfield Brandon shopping mall is set to welcome Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, which debuted in 1969 with a restaurant in Seattle. Red Robin takes the place of the newly closed Ruby Tuesday, across from Panera Bread, and is slated to open Oct. 29, according to a sign posted on the restaurant's doors.

The sign noted as well that the restaurant is hiring. For information about job openings, visit www.redrobin.jobs.

“We’ve heard nothing but great, great things about Red Robin and we’re excited to have them here,” Westfield Brandon spokeswoman Dawn Arvidson told Brandon Patch in a March report. Noted mall diner Dann Berkowitz, in the same post: “Red Robin, they do make a nice burger, it’s massive."

Red Robin joins The Cheesecake Factory, The Brass Tap, California Pizza Kitchen, Ryuu Japanese Steak House, Panera Bread and GrillSmith in the Westfield Brandon Restaurant Courtyard.

Bahama Breeze Island Grille also is set to open at the mall in October, in the space vacated by Sinigual Contemporary Mexican Cuisine. Bahama Breeze is scheduled to open its doors to the public Oct. 1 at 4 p.m.

Red Robin has more than 450 restaurants across the nation, including in Miami. The menu features gourmet burgers and chicken sandwiches, “as well as salads, entrees and signature ‘Bottomless Beverages,’ ” according to the company’s Web site. For those craving a burger, but not eating meat, the restaurant serves turkey burgers and fish sandwiches as well as “Gardenburger” and vegan “Boca Burger” offerings.
