Where To Eat Father's Day Weekend: A Guide to Local Eateries

It's Father's Day on Sunday, June 17, and if dad doesn't feel like grilling, or sweating over a hot kitchen stove, there's plenty of places in Greater Brandon to go for a family celebration.

FATHER'S DAY BRUNCH

• Sumatra Bistro Cafe & Bakery is taking reservations for Father's Day Brunch, featuring four seatings, at 10 a.m, 11:30 a.m, 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Cost is $16.95 per adult and $9.95 per child, age 12 and under. Entrees are natural prime rib "au jus," natural breast of chicken saltimbocca, tilapia Vera Cruz, four-cheese manicotti with marinara sauce, and organic eggs cooked to order. • Copper Bell Cafe, in Riverview, is seating for Father's Day brunches at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m. Cost is $14.95 per adult and $7.95 per child, age 10 and under. Featured are an omelet station, breakfast specialties, soup and salad bar, fresh fruit and antipasto, honey-glazed ham, slow-roasted beef and gravy, cabbage rolls, tortellini bruschette, assorted desserts and more.
