Hospice Staff and Volunteers Prep for New Thrift Store Opening Sept. 23

The build out is complete. The display racks are in place. Staff is hired and volunteers have been trained. All that’s needed are donations to stock the shelves for the grand opening on Monday, September 23 at 9 a.m. The new LifePath Hospice Thrift Store is located at 1335 W. Brandon Boulevard in Brandon, just west of Hilltop Road in the shopping plaza with Pro Bed Mattresses and Bob’s Carpet Mart.

Savvy shoppers are well aware of the great merchandise they can find at the LifePath Hospice thrift stores in South Tampa and Carrollwood. But LifePath Hospice will need an ongoing supply of quality donations to stock and restock the new Brandon location. “This is a great time to clean out closets and garages and donate those useful items to the LifePath Hospice Thrift Store in Brandon,” said Cheryl Ann Haley, store manager. “Your donations will support a great cause right here in Hillsborough County.”

All proceeds from sales at the thrift store fund LifePath Hospice end-of-life care services. The store accepts donations of new and gently worn clothing, household goods, furniture, jewelry, accessories, antiques, books and small appliances in good working order. Donations are now being accepted at the Brandon location, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pick-up service is available for larger donations.
