World of Beer Brewing 50th Location in Brandon!

World of Beer (WOB), a rapidly-expanding network of beer-centric taverns known for its over 500 craft brews from around the world, craft spirits and tavern fare, will open its 50th location Monday, October 28 in Brandon, FL. The tavern – located at 2878 Providence Lakes Blvd. – is the company’s first in Brandon and seventh in the Tampa Bay area. Since being founded in 2007, World of Beer has opened 50 locations in 16 states, with 14 of those locations opening just within the past year.

“World of Beer is proud to be a company that has shown so much growth while still maintaining a strong connection to its roots. This 50th location is a celebration of our customers, Development Partners and Franchisees that have made it all possible,” said World of Beer CEO Paul Avery. “At each new WOB location we always start with the basics - a passion for craft beer and a welcoming atmosphere.”

The new WOB Brandon will boast over 500 different, ever-changing bottles and 50 rotating taps. This location will also be opening with a full Tavern Fare menu, craft spirits and WOB’s signature handcrafted cocktails. The Tavern Fare complements the quality of the Craft Beer and Spirits. The menu starts with classic comfort foods, combining them with traditional bar offerings and a contemporary spin.

The Tavern Fare menu is available from open to close and pairs wonderfully with the craft beer. Healthier options such as the Sesame Seared Ahi Tuna and a selection of salads are complemented by hearty favorites like WOB’s Signature German Pretzel, Classic Reuben Sandwich, Craft Pizzas, and Brat Sliders. Delicious soups, salads and sandwiches make for a great mid-day meal, and a variety of craft beer-infused appetizers are perfect for sharing with co-workers during weekday lunch breaks. The Tavern Fare menu was developed to appeal to all tastes and all customers.

WOB has also debuted a menu of craft beer-infused cocktails, complemented by the inclusion of craft spirits from local distilleries. The handcrafted cocktails include craft-inspired creations like the Hoti Mojito, MargarIPA and Gin N Jam. Each cocktail is unique to World of Beer and showcases the WOB culture by including craft beer in the cocktails themselves. In keeping with World of Beer’s founding philosophy, a selection of craft spirits will be provided by local distilleries.

“This is an amazing milestone for World of Beer, and I’m grateful that I can be a part of it,” said Paul Jacobs, Market Partner at WOB Brandon. “The atmosphere and philosophy of World of Beer has enabled it to grow so successfully, and it is that same atmosphere that I am glad to be a part of.”
