To Blog or Not to Blog . . .

Ordinary? Probably. Or maybe not so much. Random might be a better word for this blog, because in this ride of life, many roles means many views on a wide variety of topics.

To blog, or not to blog . . . that is the question.

Since I was very young, I have been told that I have an “original” mind.  When I was little, I thought that was a compliment.  As I grew older, I realize that it’s just code for, “You can be a freakin’ weirdo sometimes."  I’ve always felt a little like a toy on the Island of Misfit Toys (a choo-choo with square wheels) but what a ride this life of mine has been!

So, this blog of mine will not be anything out of the ordinary. Probably. It will probably be more random than you would imagine.

I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, business owner, actress, cat whisperer and friend.

I am slightly addicted to reality television — especially ones that air on Bravo. I somehow attract a plethora of cats to my home.

I have lost 130 pounds — and gained a lot of it back – and currently am back on Weight Watchers. I LOVE movies by Christopher Guest, especially “Waiting for Guffman.”

I’m a good neighbor.  I like to think that I look and act younger than I am.  I have written and acted in a one woman show, "Confessions of a Reluctant Ballerina,” which included about 15 people, on the Greater Brandon community theater stage at the James McCabe Theater in Valrico.

I love tea.  I like to laugh.  A lot.

And I believe that “the only thing that separates us from the animals is our ability to accessorize.”  I am a southern girl.  I can speak about 6 dialects.  Just getting over an obsession with Shakeweights.  Still trying to make the word, chipotle, an “it” word.  Hoping to one day be in a made- for-television movie for Lifetime.

Stay tuned . . .
