16th Annual Back To School Bash: Back-To-School Countdown (Day 12)

Plan ahead for the 16th Annual Back To School Bash at the Tampa Convention Center on July 30 and 31.

Interactive exhibits, live family entertainment and a sampling of treats for the upcoming stuffing of lunch boxes are on tap over the two-day period.

Ten Things To Know About the Back To School Bash:

  • Get information on the latest swim-safety tips.
  • Find tutoring programs best suited to your childrens' needs.
  • Learn about planning financially for your child's college education.
  • Take a swing with the Tampa Bay Rays.
  • Adopt a pet (and learn about the humane treatment of animals).
  • Get a haircut -- for free.
  • Get your picture taken with Rock the Bull, mascot of the University of South Florida Bulls.
  • Admissions: $9 per adult; three kids ages 12 and under free per eah adult. (This rule is strictly enforced, for safety reasons.) Online coupon for $1 off the price of one adult ticket.
  • Time: Saturday, July 30, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sunday, July 31, 12-4 p.m.
