In Greater Brandon and beyond April 3 there’s a lot to do for families together and outside in the clear blue skies. Close to home is the 10th Annual Spring Jubilee hosted by St. Stephen Catholic School west of Bell Shoals Road and FishHawk Boulevard. In Tampa, the 2011 Bay Area Renaissance Festival continues.

  • The 10th Annual Spring Jubilee wraps up tonight at 8 at St. Stephen Catholic School off Boyette Road. Closing day’s entertainment lineup includes Entertainment Revue Marjan Daey (1 p.m.), Riverview High School Idol Solo Show (2 p.m.), Central Florida Dance Alliance (3 p.m.), Earl Harris Karate (4 p.m.), Aurora (5 p.m.) and, at 6 p.m., the Ryan Huges and the To Be Determined Band.
  • The 2011 Bay Area Renaissance Festival continues its theme weekends with Wonders of the World, featuring local Middle Eastern and Asian vendors. Enjoy food, wine, and multicultural entertainment throughout the day along with arm wrestling, dancing, juggling and egg roll eating contests for all ages.   • Travel Alerts — The northbound U.S. 301 entrance ramp onto northbound I-75 will be closed from 9 p.m. Monday (April 4) to 5 a.m. Tuesday (April 5). Traffic will continue north on northbound U.S. 301, then will make a u-turn at the signalized intersection at Crescent Park Drive to go south on U.S. 301 and use the southbound U.S. 301 entrance ramp to northbound I-75. The portion of the southbound I-75 Exit 254 that goes to southbound U.S. 301 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday (April 5 - 7) nights.Traffic will be routed to the northbound U.S. 301 exit ramp, then will make a u-turn at the signalized intersection at Crescent Park Drive to go south on U.S. 301.
