Changes to Weekend Closures for the Leroy Selmon Expressway (July 15-18)

The Florida Department of Transportation re-issues and updates its traffic alerts and lane closures for July 15-18 as they pertain to the ongoing Interstate 4/Leroy Selmon Expressway Connector project.

Changes to the closure schedule for the Leroy Selmon Expressway and its upper-deck reversible express lanes have been announced by the Florida Department of Transportation.

The July 15 alert notes that instead of the eastbound lanes closing July 15 at 8 p.m., the westbound lanes will close instead.

Note the following weekend alerts, for July 15-18, as they pertain to the ongoing Interstate 4/Selmon Expressway Connector project:

Through 8 p.m. July 15, the right lane of the
eastbound Leroy Selmon Expressway (SR 618) is closed between 22nd and 34th streets due to a settlement in the road.

Likewise, from 8 p.m. July 16 to 5 a.m. July 18, both eastbound lanes of the expressway will close from 21st/22nd streets (Exit 9) to
50th Street (Exit 11).

From 8 p.m. July 15) to 1 p.m. July 16, both westbound
lanes of the Leroy Selmon Expressway will be closed from 50th Street (Exit 11) to 21st/22nd streets (Exit 9). One westbound lane will reopen at 1 p.m. July 16. (Note: The right lane has been closed around-the-clock since January.)

From 8 p.m. July 15 to 5 a.m. July 18 the Leroy Selmon Reversible
Express Lanes will be closed to all traffic.
