The DOT recommends that drivers leaving downtown and heading east, toward Brandon, through 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, should use the “upper deck” (Reversible Express Lanes) by entering at Meridian Avenue.  Note that the reversible lanes will close at 8 p.m. on both nights because of other ongoing construction work.

Another alternate route is State Road 60.
