Michael Douglas 'Shoots for the Stars' With Basketball Camp in Brandon

The Harlem Legends Shoot for the Starts Basketball Camp is slated for the First Baptist Church of Brandon, June 27-July 1. Legendary former Harlem Globetrotters player Michael Dougals will be at Beef O'Brady's tonight to discuss the camp.

Legendary former Harlem Globetrotters player Michael Douglas will visit the Beef O' Brady's at 4330 Bell Shoals Road, Valrico, June 24 at 6 p.m. to promote the Harlem Legends Shoot for the Stars Basketball Camp.

According to a report in the Bloomingdale Patch, the camp will take place June 27 to July 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ministries and Activities Center, 216 N. Parsons Ave., Brandon.

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 14 and is geared to all skill levels.

Shoot for the Stars Basketball Camps and Clinics  are designed to enhance basketball skills, improve self-esteem, promote positive attitudes and improve physical fitness. Each camper will get to meet and spend one week of camp with special guest professional athletes, Harlem Legends Basketball members and former NBA players.

The cost is $130 per child.
