"I started voice lessons when I was eight years old and started singing with a band when I was 12," she said. "I would just get up and sing a couple songs with Next of Kin and then it just grew into this."

"It's awesome, I love it," Nalani Rothrock added. "I credit so much of my music to my dad and to the band, introducing me to all types of music and not mainstream pop at all. I just fell into it and I love it. Everybody says, 'Isn't that weird singing with your dad?' I say, 'No, I love it, it's awesome."
