Open House Set for Brandon's Hospital Emergency Center in Plant City

The Brandon Regional Hospital Emergency Center at Plant City is scheduled to open in September on James L. Redman Parkway. An open house is set for Sept. 22.

 

An open house for the Brandon Regional Hospital Emergency Center at Plant City is scheduled for Sept. 22, a time for residents to see firsthand the new 11,000- sqaure-foot facility set to open near the Aldi Supermarket on the south side of Plant City, at 3065 James L. Redman Parkway.

During the open house, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., tours will be given, children's activities will be offered and there will be an opportunity to speak to healtcare professionals who will be tending to patients at the center.

"When the facility opens for patient care at the end of September, the Emergency Center at Plant City will offer residents the experience of a facility that treats 100,000 patients per year, close to their home," reads a news release about the new facility.

According to hospital officials, the emergency center will commit to minimize wait times and be staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians and registered nurses. The center will offer a "complete array of emergency center services" and provide "access to all specialty services offered at Brandon Regional Hospital."
