PatchCast: Tiny Tots ‘Olympics’ Hosted at Lettuce Lake Park

The Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department's Tiny Tots program has hosted the "Tiny Tots Olympics" for 28 years. Competitors, ranging in age from 3 to 5, all go home with medals.

With tots in tow, Amanda Jones made her way from Brandon to Tampa for the 28th annual Tiny Tots Olympics hosted by the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department at Lettuce Lake Park in Tampa.

The April 12 event, for kids ages 3 to 5, was of particular interest to Jones and her two toddlers.

“We like doing outdoor stuff for the kids, it’s good for the kids, so we just came outside,” Jones said.
