Rotarians Team With Brandon Crossroads for 'Bowl-In-One' Fundraiser
Bowling meets golf for a "Bowl-In-One" tournament June 2 at Brandon Crossroads Bowl, presented as a fundraiser for the foundations, charities and clubs supported by the Brandon '86 Rotary club.
The Rotary Club of Brandon ’86 is teaming up with to present the first annual “Bowl-In-One” fundraiser to support the club’s charitable endeavors.
Registration starts 5:30 p.m. June 2, with bowling from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

Brandon Crossroads Bowl is at 609 Carter Lane in Tampa.
“This is a unique bowling event that will be featured as a golfing tournament, where each lane represents one hole on a golf course and scoring will be the same as a golf stroke,” notes a release on the event. “Contestants will bowl in 18 different lanes.”

Bowlers also will receive a scoring handicap and the top teams will receive awards.
“If you have never played in a tournament like this you don’t know what you’re missing,” adds the Rotary release. “It truly is a lot of fun. Bring the whole family, mom, dad and the kids. This is a family friendly event.”
Bowlers compete in a foursome. The cost to bowl is $40 per person. The cost includes food, soft drinks and equipment.
Non-bowlers are invited to attend for a $15 fee, which includes admission, food and soft drinks.
The money raised helps support the Brandon ’86 mission.
Rotarians report that the club each year raises approximately $30,000 for the Brandon ’86 Foundation, and for the following charities: Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Everyday Blessings, Interact, Rotary’s Camp Florida, Students for Tomorrow’s Leaders (S4TL) and international projects.
