Traditional Octoberfest Gets a Twist at Luthearn Church in Lithia

Help raise funds for the Open Arms Early Childhood Center by participating in the first Godtoberfest celebrations.

Known to be the largest festival in the world, Octoberfest which originated in Munich, Bavaria Germany, in 1810 continues to attract millions of people to participate in the numerous celebrations held throughout the months of September and October. Cities across the world hold Octoberfest celebrations modeled after the famous Munich event.

This year, Lamb of God Lutheran Church is putting its own spin on this 200-year-old tradition by hosting its first Godtoberfest in hopes of rebuilding its scholarship fund, which provides assistance to families who desire quality childcare but are facing financial hardships.

The Lamb of God’s Open Arms Early Childhood Center provides quality care to children 6 weeks old to 12 years old.
