Updated Lane Closures for Lee Roy Selmon Crosstown Expressway (Aug. 8-10)

The Florida Department of Transportation issued this updated on lane closures and detours for motorists traveling the Lee Roy Selmon Crosstown Expressway on Aug. 8-10.

The Florida Department of Transportation reports that tonight, Aug. 8, there will be no lane closures on the Lee Roy Selmon Crosstown Expresway.

Nor will any lanes be shut down on the reversible lanes.

But closures will resume on from Aug. 9-10 (8 p.m-5 a.m.) on eastbound State Road 618 (as the expressway also is known) between Exit 9 (22nd Street) and Exit 11 (50th Street).

Eastbound traffic will be directed off the Selmon Expressway at Exit 9, detoured east on Adamo Drive (State Road 60) and then back on to the expressway using the 50th Street entrance ramp.

At the same time, the Meridian Avenue entrance to the reversible lanes will be closed.

LANE CLOSURES TONIGHT (AUG. 8)

Meanwhile, two left lanes have been closed on eastbound Interstate 4 between Exit 1 (22nd Street) and Exit 3 (50th Street) starting at 8 p.m. Aug. 8. The lanes will remain closed until 5 a.m. tomorrow, Aug. 9.
