Video: Inside the 'Catastrophic' Seffner Sinkhole

Hillsborough County officials have released the first video of the inside of the sinkhole that on Feb. 28 swallowed and claimed the life of Jeffery Bush, 36, at 240 Faithway Drive in Seffner.

At the time, the sinkhole, reported to be about 20 feet wide and 60 feet deep, was described as both "catastrophic" and "unprecedented." The house has since been razed.

The video, shot the morning after the incident, was taken with a small camera attached to a pole that was slipped inside Bush's bedroom window, according to the Business Insider report that credits ABCActionNews reports for the video.

The situation had been reported to be too tenouous to allow for a recovery mission. Bush's body has never been recovered. Family members at the scene for the final day of razing placed memorial flowers and mementoes into the first bucket of gravel lowered into the now-filled sinkhole.
