2014 Bell Shoals Candidate Forum

Bell Shoals Baptist Church’s Community Issues Team (CIT) will be hosting its 2014 Candidate Forum on August 5. 60 candidates have been invited to participate in the forum this year, and up to 1000 people from the community are expected to be in attendance. 

The Bell Shoals Candidate Forum has been a staple of East Hillsborough County elections since 1984. Bell Shoals Baptist Church is located at 2102 Bell Shoals Road in Brandon, Florida.  

Democrat, Republican and Independent candidates for federal, state and local offices have been invited to participate. The forum is designed to allow the audience to compare candidates vying for office. Candidate answers to the CIT questionnaire will be available. 

A meet and greet time will be held from 5:30-6:30 pm, and then the forum will begin at 7:00 pm. Each candidate will be allotted two minutes to speak to the audience about issues important to his or her campaign.
